| Synopsis : | 52-year-old Bertha is about to get married again. As she prepares the guest list with her son Melvin, they screen the women and 'men' in their lives and try to decide who will ultimately fill the 150 seats at the Oversea Restaurant. Secretly, Bertha is trying to find a seating partner - who she hopes will ultimately become a partner - for her single gay son Melvin. She suggests some men in her life such as the 'market butcher's son' and the unmarried 40-year old distant uncle who is suspected to be gay. Melvin thinks he has far better taste. Follow the two as Bertha remembers past flings, while Melvin educates her on the social construct of his 'different' world. This mother-son comedy stars the playwright himself, Mark Beau de Silva, and Faridah Merican, who returns to the stage after a two year absence.
