| Synopsis : | What happens when Malaysia decides to build an atomic bomb? The play follows the intrepid physicist Dr. Mary Yuen as she joins the bewildering project and meets a madcap assortment of characters, from uranium smugglers to cabinet ministers, canteen ladies to a certain general with a Napoleonic fixation... This new staging of Huzir Sulaiman's Atomic Jaya is presented by the final semester students of Sunway University College's Department of Performance + Media. Starring student-performers, Balram Tikaram Kami, Grace Chua, Faiqsyazwan Kuhiri, Charlene Meng Si Shi, Sarvinder Kaur, Sushila Haso, Syamsul Azhar Mohamad Azmi, Joanne Tan Pao Shin and Ummi Aisyah Mohammad Salim. | to:chee sek thim,i assume you picked this play because you were looking for a comedy by a local playwright.would you consider staging "scorpion orchid" as a tribute to the late lloyd fernando who passed away at the end of february this year?perhaps you could approach the five arts centre with this idea?
