| Synopsis : | Within a year, singer Atilia has risen from gigs covering voice-overs, jingles and musicals to become a full bloom performer with a successful debut album under her belt. She also had much success at the recent Java Jazz Festival in Jakarta and Sunburst Festival in KL this year. Joining Atilia this time round is Phunk Mob, the brainchild of drummer John Ashley Thomas, whose credits includes working with Grammy award-winning flutist Nestor Torres and touring the Blue Note circuit in Japan with Motown legends The Three Degrees, among many others. The Phunk Mob boasts a stellar line-up of some fine young jazz musicians - Tok Khon on the keys, Fly on bass, Wan Gigi on guitar, and Kevin Choo on saxphone. |
